Ways to Give: Donate to the Library

With 28,375Â library card holders in the Chattahoochee Valley, demand has never been greater on the collection, services, and programs.Â
While the Library receives funds from the Muscogee County School District and the State of Georgia, private support allows a more immediate response to the evolving needs of our libraries.
Whether it's a one-time gift, a monthly contribution or something more, when you donate to the library, your gift stays right here at home, helping to sustain world class library services for your neighbors.Â

Word to the Wise
A novel way to expand and enhance the Chattahoochee Valley Library’s book collection. Recognize someone significant, commemorate a birth, or honor a lost loved one.
Donations to the Loretto Chappell Book Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of the Chattahoochee Valley will be honored with a book dedication plate.
Planned Giving
There are many ways to support your library, but for many, making the Muscogee County Library Foundation Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of the Chattahoochee Valley a beneficiary of their estate is the most practical and effective way.
Â
A planned gift clearly demonstrates how much you value the library, and it sets a lasting example for other philanthropic-minded individuals throughout Muscogee County and beyond.

Bequests
Including the Foundation Endowment Fund in your will or revocable living trust is one of the simplest and most impactful ways to create a lasting legacy. If you have already included us in your plans, please let us know so we can thank you and ensure your gift is fulfilled according to your wishes.
Donating appreciated securities (such as stocks, bonds, or mutual funds held for over a year) is a simple way to support the Foundation. You may receive a charitable deduction for the full market value and avoid capital gains tax on appreciation.
