Book Donations
Have books you'd like to share with the community? Donations help keep our shelves stocked and our mission moving forward.

If you have two boxes or fewer and can carry them into the bookstore during operating hours, simply bring them by. For larger donations, please call 706-243-2699 to schedule a drop-off time.

Please note:Â We do not accept textbooks, encyclopedias, journals, magazines, Readers Digest collections, law books, or outdated software manuals.

The Muscogee County Friends of Libraries host two annual book sales.
These sales take place from Friday to Sunday with no books priced over $2.

Muscogee County Friends of Libraries?
Join our team at the Columbus Public Library with  weekly bookstore shifts. Help us by serving as a cashier, processing incoming book donations, organizing vibrant book displays, & managing stock for the store and our major seasonal book sales.
We also welcome on-call substitutes.
